December 31- The CROSS Center will be closed.

Thank you to all who donated their garden produce. This is a healthy addition to many families’ meals. If you still have produce you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

December 17- Sponsors for the Giving Tree please bring in gifts to the bank before this date, so we can notify the family by mail in time for Christmas.

December 24, Check with CROSS if you can distribute gifts this day.

December 10- Last day to register children 0-16 for the Toy distribution

December 11- Set-up for the Toy Distribution at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Foley.

December 12- Toy Distribution from 12:00 - 5:00.

November 24 from 3:30 - 7pm- Pie pick up at the CROSS Center.

November 30- Last day for families to register for the Giving trees.

Pies for Thanksgiving! New this year, the poster and order sheets are right here on our website. Anyone can sell pies for us and get the order and money to us by Thursday, November 12 at 3:00 p.m. Here are the Poster, Order Sheets, and Sale Receipts.

Minnesota Give to the Max Day is November 12, 2015. Donations will help the CROSS Center continue to fulfill our mission.

The CROSS Center will be selling pies again this fall in time for Thanksgiving.  More information will be coming soon!

$1,934 were raised during the July Food Shelf Challenge! Thank you so much for your support!

Healthy foods are important for everyone, especially the hungry. If you have an abundance of garden grown produce, donate some to the CROSS Center, or while you’re out shopping, remember to pick up healthy items to donate. We are always in need of healthy items such as fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, rolled oats, white rice, wild rice, brown rice, dry beans, wheat flour, corn flour, whole grain pasta,whole grain bread, whole grain cereal, and nuts.

The School Supply Drive is well on its way. While you are out shopping for supplies, pick up a few extra ones to donate to CROSS. Either drop them off at the CROSS Center or at local businesses who have a bin set up for donations.

July is finishing up, and so is the July Open Your Heart Campaign. Remember that every monetary donation  during the month of July will be matched by the Open Your Heart Grant!

In May, we served 432 individuals, giving out a total of 13,281 pounds of food. Thank you for your continued donations!

The CROSS Center is now accepting Ham Cards. If you have any cards you will not be using, please donate them to CROSS. Even if they are not full, CROSS can combine them. Thank you!

Redeemed, a gospel singing group, will be performing at the First Presbyterian Church in Foley. Come watch them on March 22nd at 3pm and bring a non-perishable food item or a free will offering! See the flyer here.

“Pack the Pews” on  March 21st and 22nd is an event all churches are encouraged to participate in. Fill the pews with food or with monetary donations. All donations are welcome! More info here.

“March into Spring Breakfast” will be held on March 18th at the Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in Foley. Come between 6:30 and 10 am to enjoy coffee, a roll, pancakes, and sausage! Look at the poster here.

The Duelm KCs will be hosting a breakfast for the CROSS Center on March 15th. Please the paper for more details!

The March Campaign is coming up fast! During the month of March, every dollar donated can be matched by the Minnesota FoodShare Food Fund. Please donate what you can, and remind your friends and family to  as well!

The Fish Fry is on February 27th at Henry’s Catering!  Please come out and show your support. The fish fry starts at 5 and goes until 7. The cost is $10 for adults, $7 for children 5-10, and $2 for children under 4, and includes an opportunity to build your own sundae. For more information, see the flyer here. See you there!

Thank you for your support! The January Foley Business EXPO breakfast was the first CROSS fundraiser for 2015. Next up is Henry's Fish Fry on Friday, February 27. Make your own sundaes is again a specialty item at the fish fry along with a bake sale of extremely good homemade necessities for later enjoyment. The annual “Spring into Spring” event is also coming up, watch for details soon…

Thank you! for all the time and effort to bring in Coborns Turkey Cards. We were able to purchase more than 140 turkeys this year. CROSS has more than that many families coming in each month so it helped to meet a great need.

Looking back, the community support for the Christmas programs at CROSS was impressive. The Giving Trees had 94 envelopes, so 94 families were blessed this year with a much better Christmas than they could have done on their own. Toys were donated and put smiles on 171 little faces with happy hearts. What a wonderful community this is. Don't forget the volunteers! None of the work at CROSS would happen if it were not for the generous volunteers giving of their time.
